"Luckily, I did" listens to the stories of choreographer Kristen Yeung's immigrant family across generations and examines how they have shaped her as an American-born Chinese-American who straddles two cultures. This deeply personal solo explores themes of physical labor, barriers, community, and the significance of luck & good fortune in Chinese culture. How can you make luck, not for yourself, but for future generations?
